Second SMK Industry Class pilot begins in Malang
After completing the first pilot at SMKN 1 Kepanjen, the AI Engineering Industry Class starts its second pilot in Malang. A full three-year curriculum is now designed.
The first SMK Industry Class pilot at SMKN 1 Kepanjen (Malang) is complete, and a second pilot is now starting in Malang.
Alongside the pilots, the full three-year AI Engineering Industry Class curriculum has been designed end-to-end. It is anchored in the Team Human philosophy and built to respect the EU AI Act and GDPR.
The curriculum in brief
- Year 1 - common foundation: programming fundamentals, working in teams, and the Team Human mindset.
- Years 2–3 - a track: students choose Software Engineering or AI Media.
- Throughout: real client work alongside study, delivered in "lego blocks" so students ship something real while they learn.
From classroom to career
Industry Class is the first step of a longer journey. Students who thrive move on to traineeships inside Maua's delivery teams, and from there to contracts and international placements.
The Kepanjen pilot proved the model works. Malang is where we run it again and sharpen it.
